Homeless in Seattle

Zacharia Salad, a Christian Somali immigrant, peers out into a rainy night from a locker shack at the City Team Ministries shelter in Seattle. He has been in the United States for 6 years after being granted political asylum, but has been off his feet, in his opinion, in part due to the lack of acceptance in the American Somali communities of his religious faith, the persecution for which he originally left Somalia.
